School Day
OUR SCHOOL DAY
Morning
The playground gate is opened by a member of staff at 8.50am and the school day begins at 9.00am when the children line up on the playground and are met by their class teacher and brought into class.
(During rainy weather children may come in to school from 8.50am and go straight to class).
Morning Playtimes
All classes enjoy a 15 minute break at the following times:
Year 5/6 and Year 3/4 – 10.15am, Reception/KS1 10.30am
Lunch
Lunch break is an hour long for all classes. The classes take turns to eat their lunch in the hall and play outside.
Afternoon Playtime
Reception, Year 1 and 2 have a 15 minute break during the afternoon.
End of the Day
The school day ends at 3.30pm.
A school week is 32.5 hours.
