Dear Parents/Carers of Y6 children
Well done to all our year 6 children for their fantastic concentration and hard work this week, during the SATs tests. All the children tried their very best and whatever the results, we are proud of them for their great attitude. Thank you for supporting them throughout this term of extra homework and increased pressure.
There is still lots of great learning to be done so that the children are fully prepared for secondary school, but there are lots of fun activities in store too!
We are very grateful to FOGSA, who have again agreed to part funded leaver’s hoodies for each of our Y6 children. The cost of each hoodie is £14, leaving £7 left to pay after the FOGSA donation. I am writing to ask if you would also consider making a donation towards your child’s hoodie. Every Y6 will receive a hoodie regardless of any additional donations you may choose to make, but obviously our school funds will be healthier if you are able to contribute. Any amount of the remaining £7 you feel able to give, would be greatly appreciated. ParentPay has been set up for online payment.
The hoodies should arrive the week before half term and we want to give them out immediately, however we request they are saved to be worn for PGL trip after half term.
If your child is not going to PGL, but would like to wear their hoodie to school on Monday 5th June, that would be fine. After that they can be worn as uniform for the rest of next half term.
If you feel able to make a contribution, please log onto ParentPay and click on ‘Pay for Other Items’ where you will be able to ‘add it to your basket’ and pay securely online. Thank you.
