FOGSA DISCO - K.S.2 – Tuesday 14th March 2017 - 6.15pm – 7.15pm

Dear Parent(s)/Carer(s)

FOGSA DISCO - K.S.2 – Tuesday 14th March 2017 - 6.15pm – 7.15pm

Tickets for the KS2 Disco (held in the School Hall) will be on sale from the school office from Monday 27th February at a cost of £2 each (exact money or cheques to ‘FOGSA’ would be greatly appreciated). The ticket price includes free drinks (juice or water) to ensure the children have access to drinks when they need them even if they have used their spending money on treats. Please note the finish time of the disco and please arrive promptly to collect your children.

  1. return the reply slip along with payment, preferably in a sealed envelope with your child’s name clearly marked on the front. The slip is available of the FOGSA area of the school website.

On the evening of the disco, children may bring some spending money so that they can purchase ice pops, snacks or glow items. We have a selection of items ranging from 20p to £1.50. All profits from FOGSA events are used to fund items for the school which benefit all of our children.

It is important to stress that children who are pre-school age are not insured to be on our premises at this time and therefore are not able to attend. The disco is organised by FOGSA with Mrs MacDonald being the resident DJ and we really need parent volunteers to help make the event a success. If you are available to help, please volunteer your services by sending an email to burton.amanda@hotmail.com stating which disco you can help with. Alternatively, you can post a message on the Facebook page “FOGSA helpers”, by Monday 6th March latest, to allow us sufficient time to get in touch with yourselves.

All children should be collected from the disco and not walk home on their own. For safety reasons it would be most helpful if parents did not bring cars down into the school car park to drop off and pick up the children.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Yours sincerely,

Amanda Burton on behalf of FOGSA
